So every one who knows about these things, know that advent doesn't start properly until you have opened a cardboard door, so 1st december we bought Natathan into bed with us to open his first advent calendar that his Nanny Pauline gave him.
Not long after this, there was chocolate EVERYWHERE!
We kept Nathan's advent calendar from us until Bed time as it is a series of little board books and so we wanted for John to have time to read them with him. So that evening we pootled upstairs and popped Nathan onto the floor so we could pop his christmas tree together to hang the books on. To my amazement I suddenly looked down to see not crawling backwards or just bobbing up and down in the same place but going forward at a far lick! All worked stopped as we admired Nathan's new trick (such a clever boy)!
Finally we got back to the important business of advent books....
...and much cuteness ensued...
...and trains were buily (all just for Nathan to play with of course)
